We asked customers what was wrong with their current coolers. Here's our solution.
When ice melts, the volume inside the cooler decreases causing a vacuum to pull on the one way freezer style gasket. In other coolers this results in the lid sticking shut after hours in the sun and having to be wrestled open. Now with the press of a button you can equalize pressure in your cooler, freeing the lid instantly.
Two double duty stainless steel locking tab bottle openers keeps you quenched anywhere. Use padlocks with minimum 1.5" shank length to prevent bears from eating your catch.
Rugged two stage drain fits a standard garden hose for remote draining. Stainless leash prevents drain overboard.
Includes dry basket, cutting board separator and drink holder.
The 20 qt features a fully padded aluminum handle for comfortable one handed carry. The 45 qt includes marine nylon double handles.
Ice didn't last as long as I had hoped. I need to keep the lid closed more often! : ) I'm learning .
Unfortunately I would not purchase from the company as long as they are using UPS. I am not blaming Thermik for UPS inefficiencies but I am afraid that I will never get the items that I ordered. I still have not received my 45qt cooler that I ordered weeks ago
Love the latches and the design of the cooler. Two bags of ice will last at least three days. It took a while to get it so order it well in advance of when you need it. ( Nine days).
We aren't very happy with this ice chest at all. Very disappointed. I thought I'd try this brand. But we will never buy one again.
We purchased this cooler before a 4 day car camping trip. Stuck some ice packs in and some frozen meat. After the food was put in we didn't have a ton of extra room for ice so had to add some ice throughout the weekend but even by the 3rd day, the remaining meat still had ice in the middle of it. Pretty impressive!
